| Advice on buying old and second hand flueless gas fires. |
We strongly advise you not to buy a second hand flueless gas fire without knowing the full history of the fire. Great caution should be taken when buying any second hand gas fires regardless of who the manufacturer is. Our advice is DO NOT DO IT, it is not worth the risk to save a few pounds. If you are looking for a cheap flueless gas fire these are available online or at DIY stores like B&Q. All flueless gas fires by law must be supplied with an install booklet and a CE dataplate. If these items are missing - DO NOT buy the fire. Buying an old second hand fire without knowing the history or condition could prove more costly than you think. Why not call us and get a quote for a NEW high quality flueless fire made here in the UK by Spirit Fires.
